Dr. Rob Baskind
Dr Rob Baskind has been a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2008 and set up the Leeds ADHD service at Leeds and York Partnerships NHS Trust which he has been Clinical Lead of since 2011. The service has developed as a high quality multidisciplinary service providing pharmacological and psychological interventions for adults in the Leeds area. The service has been involved in local and national ADHD research and Dr Baskind has provided training to primary care, mental health, education and criminal justice professionals. Dr Baskind also helped support the development of a local Leeds ADHD support group. Dr Baskind previously worked for 8 years as the prison psychiatrist for 2 Leeds Adult prisons and developed an ADHD pathway for offenders within those prisons.
Dr Baskind was involved in the development of ADHD Action, a charity organisation using patient stories to raise awareness and campaig for improved provision and services for individuals with ADHD, and which was at the forefront of the development of the All Party Parliamentary Group for ADHD which launched at the Houses of Parliament in January 2018.
