Professor Wolfgang Retz
Since 2013 Wolfgang Retz is full professor for forensic psychiatry and psychotherapy head of the forensic psychiatry at the department of psychiatry and psychotherapy of the University Medical Centre Mainz. From 1999 to 2013 he was assistant medical director at the Institute for Forensic Psychology and Psychiatry (IGPUP) at the Neuro Centre of the Saarland University Hospital, Homburg/Saar. His focus of research are the diagnosis and treatment of adult ADHD, the impact of ADHD on delinquent behaviour and behavioural genetics. He has been involved in a number of treatment studies with adult ADHD patients and has also participated in the development of several diagnostic tools and assessment scales for ADHD
