Dr. Jessica Agnew-Blais
Dr Agnew-Blais trained as an epidemiologist, with a focus on psychiatric disorders. Her research investigates how genetic and environmental factors contribute to mental health over the life course. Her current Fellowship focuses on genetic factors that influence ADHD across development, especially the persistence and possible emergence of ADHD after childhood, and how epigenetic changes may be associated with ADHD. Dr. Agnew-Blais is interested in how genetic risk may correlate with environmental risk (gene-environment correlation) as well as how genes may modify the effect of different environmental risk factors (gene-environment interaction) in the development and course of ADHD.
